3-day workshop for women in Morocco

National Human Rights Council has organized a three-day workshop for women in Morocco. The women who participated in the workshop will be informed about sexual health, reproduction, contraception, and sexual violence.

Morocco- Yesterday, the National Human Rights Council, a national institution for the protection and promotion of human rights in Morocco, started a three-day workshop on violence against women, women’s sexual and reproductive health to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Women of all ages can participate in the workshop.

Lawyers give information about women’s rights

The workshop sponsored by the United Nations Population Fund and supported by the Embassy of Canada has been held in Rabat. Members of the National Human Rights Council, human rights organizations in Morocco, experts on sexual and reproductive health, and lawyers working on women’s rights have attended the workshop. Lawyers have given information about women’s rights in seminars.

Seminar on women’s sexual health

Seminars have been held by the National Human Rights Council to raise awareness of women participating in the workshop about sexual violence, most married women complain about being forced to have sex by their spouses in Morocco.
