News Center- The petition demanding the Iranian authorities to revoke the death sentence against political prisoner Pakhshan Azizi continues. 3,400 signatures have been collected for the petition supported by artists, writers, poets, journalists, civilians, political activists, religious leaders, students and lawyers from Iran and abroad.

‘Standing against all kinds of oppression is our duty’

“No society can achieve justice by shedding blood,” the petitioners said in a statement. “The  death penalty does not lead to justice. The execution of Pakhshan Azizi will open a non-healing wound in society. Standing against all kinds of oppression is our duty.”
