295th day of sit-in protest: The ember continues to burn where it fell
Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar have demanded justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 295 days. “The ember continues to burn where it fell as everybody remains silent,” the Şenyaşar family said.
Riha - Emine Şenyaşar’s husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018. She and her son Ferit Şenyaşar have held a sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse to demand justice for their killed relatives for 295 days.
In the morning, they went in front of the courthouse to keep holding their sit-in protest.
“In front of hundreds of public employees, an AKP MP carried out a massacre at the Suruç State Hospital. The ember continues to burn where it fell as everybody remains silent. Our sit-in protest for justice is on the 295th day,” read the tweet posted by the Şenyaşar family today.
