Van- The 28th Interim Congress of the Purple Roof General Assembly of Women’s Shelters and Solidarity/ Counselling Centers kicked off at the Tahir Elçi Conference Hall of the Van Bar Association in the city of Van on Friday.

Members of 58 women’s associations have attended the three-day congress hosted by the Star Women's Association.

At the closed-door congress, women will discuss what has been done since the previous congress, their agendas together on Friday. On the second day of the congress, workshops will be held. On the last day of the congress, women will discuss the challenges faced by them such as the lack of funding challenges and determine a road map.
