“25% of people having a press card in Turkey were women”
As of December 31, 2020, 25% of 15.148 people having a press card in Turkey were women.
News Center- Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay answered the parliamentary question asked by Republican People's Party (CHP) Istanbul MP Sezgin Tanrıkulu.
CHP MP Sezgin Tanrıkulu submitted a parliamentary question and asked how many people had a yellow press card in 2020, and how many of them were women and men. On April 28, Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay answered the parliamentary question and said that as of December 31, 2020, 15.148 people had a press card in Turkey and 25% of them were women.
