News Center- A young man killed two young women in the city of Serêkaniyê (Ras al-Ayn), where has been controlled by the Turkish state and Turkish-backed factions, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

The SOHR said that the man tortured the women by severely beating them before shooting them in the head and mouth.

On July 30, SOHR reported that the dead body of 17 years-old woman, who had shot with a hunting rifle, was found in the city. 

On October 9, 2019, the Turkish state and Turkish-backed factions launched an offensive into North and East Syria and occupied Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî (Tell Abyad).
