Sulaymaniyah –Koma Hunerên Kurdistan (Kurdistan Art Group) awarded 16 women journalists, including our agency NuJINHA's reporter, Şinyar Payiz, on the occasion of International Women's Day, March 8. The award ceremony was held at the hall of the Dawa Hotel, Sulaymaniyah. After a minute's silence, Dana Dara, the president of the group, made a speech on the important roles of women journalists and then gave the awards to the journalists.

“I am honored to receive this award,” Terze Emer, the presenter of the Kurdsat channel, said after receiving her award.

“I am happy to receive this award on behalf of NuJINHA. I am also very happy to be able to serve women through my agency and to report the strength and struggle of women through this agency,” our reporter Şinyar Payiz said after receiving her award.

Koma Hunerên Kurdistan (Kurdistan Art Group) was founded three years ago to carry out artistic works. It holds exhibitions every year.
