11 civilians killed in Turkish attacks on Kurdistan Region
11 civilians were killed in the Turkish attacks on the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in 2023, according to the Community Peacemaker Teams (CPT).
News Center- Kamaran Osman, human rights activist and member of the Community Peacemaker Teams (CPT) announced that 11 civilians were killed in the Turkish attacks on the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in 2023.
In an interview with Rojnews, Kamaran Osman said that seven civilians had been killed by Turkish drones, three by Turkish warplanes and one after a mine exploded.
In 2023, five civilians were killed and three more were injured in Duhok, one civilian was killed and eight more were injured in Hewlêr (Erbil) and five civilians were killed and two more were injured in Sulaymaniyah, according to the CPT.
