1,500 decares of agricultural land affected by wildfire in Sulaymaniyah
A wildfire that erupted in the Qela Çoxe, Esker, Dalewe and Heyderbeg villages of Sulaymaniyah’s Chamchamal district has been reportedly brought under control.
News Center- The wildfire that erupted in the Chamchamal district of Sulaymaniyah has been brought under control, the Directorate of Forests and Environment Police in Sulaymaniyah reported on Wednesday.
According to the directorate, the reason for the wildfire is still unknown and the wildfire affected four villages; Qela Çoxe, Esker, Dalewe and Heyderbeg. The directorate said that 1,500 decares of agricultural land has been affected by the wildfire.
