Among them women and children…14 killed in strikes on southern Lebanon

14 people, including women and children, were killed, and dozens were injured early this morning as Israel continues to launch strikes on various areas of Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

News Center — Israel continues to carry out airstrikes targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut and a number of areas in southern, eastern, and northern Lebanon, accompanied by limited ground incursions, as part of its response to the operations initiated by Hezbollah following the U.S.-Israeli strikes that targeted Iran.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health revealed on Monday, April 6, that at least 14 people, mostly children and women, have been killed, and 52 others injured, including 8 children, as a result of intense Israeli shelling targeting multiple areas in southern Lebanon. This came after Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on the towns of Kfar Roumman, Jebchit, Safad al-Batikh, Meifdoun, and Nabatieh al-Fawqa. The strikes alone killed four people in Kfar Roumman.

Video footage also showed the extent of the damage caused to a house in the town of Sarafand after an Israeli airstrike targeted the area early this morning.
